Welcome to the real world, jackass

This spring is kicking my ass. I forgot how oppressive working under somebody else's schedule really is. Even with school I could miss a class or drop it altogether so as not to interfere with the rest of my life. Now, not so much.
I know what you're thinking, "welcome to the real world, jackass." But seriously, working outside of the home is getting in the way of my personal life. And this spring has already been super busy and is about to get busier as the school year wraps up. We've had funerals, weddings, holidays, campouts, sleepovers ... Don't even get me started on the allergies. Dayquil is my new best friend and I've taken NyQuil as my lover.
Now is the season for talent shows, field-day, field trips and other end-of-school-year activities. Not to mention pool opening, family reunion, family & friend visits, summer camps, etc.
I know this sounds like it's coming from a place of privilege and, I guess it is but, three months into this experiment and, man, I'm tired.
