more than words

Haven't heard this song in probably 20 years (ok, maybe once or twice) and in the past week I've heard it THREE times. Once in Guy's car, once in mine and then in a freaking movie that was on late last night. How odd is that? For the record, it reminds me of my little high school crush-turned -boyfriend a.k.a. my first (puppy) love. So, it brings back sweet memories for sure.

Also, hi. How are you? We're all good here. Spring Break was fun, Natalie is driving (with a learner's permit) and my job is a total trip. I really, really like it. And more than that, I'm highly amused by it. All that preoccupation and, at times, pure fear & self-doubt were all for naught. Taking a part-time job waiting tables? AM I NUTS? Apparently, yes. Yes, I am. Working outside of the home (and not dying slowly, behind a desk, under the din of fluorescent lighting ::insert intermittent BUZZ...BUZZ, BUZZZZZZZ:::) has been so incredibly good for me. I love it. Crazy, huh?

Hey there Nino- I don't know if you realize that I follow your blog and your flickr photostream on a daily basis- im just not a big commentor- i feel blessed that you have this thing called a blog and flickr so that i can keep up with your musings as i do not have a twitter or facebook account (i have this phrase that goes a little like this... everything fine with me- still with boyfriend (going on 8 years)- still hasn't been able to sweep me off my feet- if he would just simply sweep at this point it would be great lol

We're enjoying our Spring Break this week -- just got back from Monterey. Toby's parents came and kept the older two boys in their room with them. SO NICE!! Really beautiful there.
