The Pouty Princess

 

"Fragile" is this week's Photo Friday theme which is very appropriate considering how I've been feeling this week, especially yesterday.

(I woke up feeling much, much better this morning after our weekly Super Fantastic Friday Family Date^TM and an excellent night's rest, thankyouverymuch).

This was taken a few weeks ago with the little point and shoot I carry in my purse at our beloved Dream Cafe. She wasn't really pouting here. She was eating sugar straight out of the little straw-like packages. Either that or jam. Whatever it was, it was sticky sweet, she was working hard to suck it off her top lip and a precious picture was born.

Hugh loves eating the sugar out of the packets when we go out for coffee or a meal. Everyone thinks I'm crazy giving my child an instant sugar hit but hey, the simple pleasures!!! She looks just like a princess.....

when my youngest was first born and in my arms she was pretty quiet, big eyes, she looked around and then slowly the lower lip came out and the pout and she started screaming. that is what pouting reminds me of; her first moments of life. thanks for the chuckle

I LOVE the crown. Come on! It's just too cute!! It's the only reason I'd want a girl actually ... to dress her in a princess outfit. Not gonna happen though and that's f-i-n-e fine by me. :-)
