Little Things I Don't Ever Want to Forget

- Waking up in the middle of the night to find Guy and I, facing each other, making sort of a heart shape around Anna Sofia who is sleeping between us, with our feet meeting down and touching at the bottom. Locking eyes and talking about her pinchy sweetness in a soft whisper so as not to wake her.

- How dearly I miss Natalie when she's over at a friend's.

- What a great little person Elle is growing into. How wonderful a companion she is turning out to be and how much I'm going to miss spending my days with her when she goes to Kindergarten in the fall.

On a morning walk the other day, she told me all about how she made a wish on a dandelion with the "voice that talks inside my head and my heart," how it is a little girl's voice "like mine" and that the little girl has "beautiful eyes, like me, Momma!"

There are so many sweet moments and conversations that I wish I could preserve forever.
