I don't iron (much)

...but I spray a mean wrinkle reducer.  ha ha ha

In other domestic curiosities, we've been cooking and eating dinner really early again lately. I would say we're done at or before 6:30P. Today, I started dinner at 4:45P and we ate at around 5:30ish (Guy and I, the girls lagged a bit). I much prefer it this way. I don't much like eating late.

What time do you prepare and eat your supper?

Chispo is the one who does the ironing most around here. I suck at it. We usually start cooking at 5 pm, and eat by 5:30 to 6 pm. Like you, we rather eat at a reasonable time.

We eat around the same time. Although, I'm having a hard time planning between Rick getting home around 6:00pm, and Ricky going to bed at 7:00. I don't want him to eat right before he goes to bed,but would like Rick to be home for dinner. It's amazing though, cause I have friends who think we eat crazily early, and other friend who eat a littler earlier than that. I guess you can't please everyone. :)

I iron every week. I never used to but after getting in to the habit I love looking in my wardrobe and seeing what I have for the week.

As for getting dinner and eating it, I usually start preparing at 5.00pm and we eat at 6.00pm. That way the boys can start getting ready for bed at 7.00pm. We usually read Louis' home reader from school and have a bit of wind down time. The older 2 normally go to bed at 7.30pm and Hugh's in bed at 6.30-7.00pm.

hmmmmm...
I would say I'm on European time! We usually eat anywhere betwee 7:00 and 9:00. Depends how long we have been outside playing with our crazy neighbors ;-) and also how fancy schmancy dinner is.

Oh... and iron? What's that? Isn't that what the fluff feature on the dryer is for???

I long for the day when I prepare a dinner and my entire family sits down to eat it. Nobody in my family likes the same things (except spaghetti). My husband is a Brit so he likes to smear Marmite on everything or boil the heck out of it. My son is a vegetarian who won't eat vegetables so his diet consists of bread, cheese, soy and egg products and my two little girls have different food aversions and one is lactose intolerant. So I make meals for the girls and myself and my husband and son make their own. Also, hubby doesn't come home from work until nearly 8:00 PM so that's too late to feed the girls.

Some day, we'll all sit down and enjoy THE SAME meal together. It's my goal and I've got my eye on it!

We eat at 5pm. Baths at 6pm. Bed at 7pm. I run a tight ship!

We usually eat around 6 or 6:30, but it is usually just me and Arwyn. Typically the earliest Bubby gets home from work is 6 and two weeknights he doesn't get home til 10, so we are on our own. I too yearn for the family meal time, but it only happens on the weekends.

European time here, too, which I suppose isn't surprising since I live in Europe ;) Anywhere from 7:30 to 9:30 is dinner, earlier in the winter, sometimes even later in the summer...but what is this thing about an iron? Is this another new fangled invention like those iPod thingees?

I'm having a dilemma here. I would like to have dinner around 6pm every day but my husband doesn't come home before 7pm.

right now we're eating without him on week days and having family dinners during the weekends. I still don't know what's better. to eat or to wait...

We are usually done with dinner by 6:00 and lately I have had no want for a snack before bed at 10:30. Weirdness.

LOVE to eat early and bathe the kids early but it depends on when their Daddy is coing home. If he's coming home after 6:30 PM, then we don't wait and that's when we eat. Bath time is 7:30 PM, then play time then snack and reading time, and then TV for a few minutes and off to sleep. The boys are usually asleep by 9, 9:30 at the latest although these days we're still struggling with the time change a little so it can be a little later.

Since Husband works nights, we eat when the girls are hungry - typically about 5:30. Just in time to miss the evening news.

I wish we could eat that early. I feed the kids AT 6:00 And sit with them while they eat. But then Scott and I eat at 7:00 or 7:30, if he is home. I am starving by then! We do tend to eat early and together every weekedn, though.
